The Tax Office mission is to make the paying of ad valorem property taxes and licensing and titling of vehicles easy, efficient, and cost effective for the citizens of Wichita County.
The Tax Office assesses and collects for 8 taxing jurisdictions in the County, disbursing almost $120 million dollars to these entities in the most recent tax year. In addition, the Tax Office processed 140 thousand vehicle registrations and title transfers last year. The County Tax Office uses the most advanced technology to assure that citizens of Wichita County receive only the best customer service available.

We are proudly announcing our THIRD Employee of the Quarter Award to:
Kendra has been employed with Wichita County Tax Office since 2016.
In this short time Kendra has worked in the Motor Vehicle Department where she has excelled in every aspect of that position and in February of 2018 Kendra was promoted to our bookkeeping department, where she continues to grow. In addition to her daily bookkeeping duties, Kendra has most recently taken over the task of Vehicle Inventory Tax.
It has been no surprise that she has done a fantastic job with that task as well. Kendra is always going over and above, seeking to take on the next big challenge. Kendra has a great attitude and eagerness to learn and excel where given the opportunity. Kendra is certainly an asset to our office, and we certainly appreciate her hard work and dedication she gives to us on a daily basis!
